Yes - you heard correctly, this years World Worm Charming Championships wll be taking place in Willaston!
Gates open at 1.00pm and the Charming starts at 2.00pm (the event runs until 4.00pm).
This truly unique rural event is bound to raise a few eyebrows and smiles as the worm charmers from around the world employ various methods to charm those worms from the soil!
You are invited to stand back and watch or you can have a go yourself and try and beat the World Record of 567 worms!
