5 charged with public order offences
Five men have been charged as part of an investigation into a public order incident involving weapons in Stoke-on-Trent.
Aiden Crowder, 25, of Hanley, and Lewis Jones, 24, of HMP Dovegate, have both been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Ryan Lowndes, 28, of Blurton, has been charged with making an explosive substance with intent to endanger life / injure property.
Mitchell Spencer, 20, of Adderley Green, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Matthew Stevens, 24, of Bentilee, has been charged with possession of a knife / sharp pointed article in a public place.
Staffordshire Police said the incident took place on Saturday 11 May 2024 on Rochester Road, Longton.
