Borough council believed to be looking into political tirade

Newcastle borough council says its complaints process has been triggered as leader Jonathan Gullis is alleged to have launched an expletive tirade at a political opponent. The Reform council leader says he has faced a sustained campaign of abuse and harassment. A further response from the council is yet to be given.
