Canal locks to re-open

Repair work on a stretch of a Cheshire canal is set to finish this week. A number of locks on the Trent & Mersey in Middlewich were closed earlier in the month due to low water levels, but the Canal and Rivers Trust says the work on the lock gates mean it should be open ahead of the bank holiday weekend.
