Cheshire woman given interim slavery and trafficking risk order
A woman arrested in relation to serious offences involving members of The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light in Crewe has now been issued with an interim Slavery and Trafficking Risk Order.
Vanessa Gardee Vega was arrested in Middlewich on Monday 20 July on suspicion of human trafficking offences and child neglect.
The 53-year-old Mexican woman was subsequently released on conditional bail and appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court on Friday 31 July where she was also issued with a six-month interim Slavery and Trafficking Risk Order (STRO).
