Civic Pride comes to Silverdale

Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council is bringing its latest Civic Pride event to Silverdale in partnership with Aspire Housing, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and Staffordshire Police following a successful visit to Knutton last week

Civic Pride is a borough-wide community initiative bringing residents, partners and volunteers together to help create cleaner, greener, safer and more welcoming neighbourhoods under a unified “PrideInNUL” badge.

Residents can join in a litter pick at Silverdale Park from 10am on Tuesday – where the council’s Green Team will be helping rangers with spring jobs – which will be followed by an estate walkabout. Checks will be carried out in public spaces as part of national knife amnesty week.
