Company fined over poor state of building in conservation area.
A company has been slapped with an £8,386.98 court bill - over the state of a former shop. Nour House owns the 19th century 179 High Street, in Tunstall.
But Stoke-on-Trent City Council found the three-storey building 'in a poor state of repair following a period of neglect' and slapped the property with an enforcement notice. It sits within Tunstall's Tower Square Conservation Area.
