Concerns over housing development in Stone

Twenty homes have been removed from a proposed housing estate - as community leaders remain concerned.

Developer Taylor Wimpey had submitted an application for up to 140 homes, off Marlborough Road, in Stone. That has now been revised down to 120 homes and residents have until Friday, September 11 to have their say on the latest plan.

But Stone town councillors are still concerned about the number of new homes in Walton - with the new Udall Grange development and housing plans for two sites off Eccleshall Road.
