Council leader concerned over pipeline through the Moorlands

The chair of Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, Councillor Linda Malyon, is urging residents to have their say on the Peak Cluster and the Carbon Capture Pipeline Project which will run through the area as a host authority. Reports suggest the pipe will cross under water and electricity at Waterhouses amongst other points across the area and as the leader she wants reassurances of its safety and how evacuations of areas will be administered should there be a problem.
