Council saves taxpayers money

Newcastle borough council has confirmed it has save tax payers in the borough over £6 million by scrapping electric bin lorries. The newly elected reform UK administration had already saved £2million by scrapping the the purchase of the vehicles. Now it has announced the charging infrastructure would have cost the borough over £4million.
