Crewe man jailed for arranging sex with a minor

A Crewe man who thought he was going to meet a 14-year-old girl for sex has been jailed.

Terrence O'Neil, of Gresty Road, appeared at Chester Crown Court to be sentenced after pleading guilty to arranging the commission of a sexual offence of sexual activity with a child.

He also pleaded guilty to being an adult attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and breaching a sexual harm prevention order at an earlier hearing.

The 42-year-old was sentenced to five years in prison.
