Dad threatens to kill ex by strangulation

A 43 year old Dad from Clayton throttled his ex-partner. Mathew Mills threatened to ‘kill’ his ex-girlfriend on in May 2023, after being questioned about the whereabouts of a passport.

Mills, of Langdale Road, pleaded guilty to intentional strangulation. He was given a two-year community order, requiring him to complete 20 rehabilitation days and 60 days unpaid work. He was also given a two-year restraining order and ordered to pay £514 costs.
