Farm diversification on Staffordshire/Cheshire border

A family-run farm has launched a new visitor attraction featuring more than 60 varieties of dahlias as it looks for new ways to support the farm for future generations.

Heaton House Farm, just outside Rushton Spencer on the Staffordshire/Cheshire border, is drawing visitors from more than an hour away to its new Pick Your Own Dahlia Patch.

Visitors can book slots to explore the patch and create their own bunch to take home, enjoy choosing each individual flower themselves.
