Four homes destroyed as firefighters continue to battle blazes across the City

Staffordshire Fire & Rescue service are battling a number of fires across the City this evening. A large fire has spread from the park at Sandyford with four homes destroyed. Roads have been closed and some residents have been evacuated from their homes. MP David Williams thanked the staff at Goldenhill Working Men's Club for their support in offering a safe haven for those affected.

Meanwhile yet another blaze has broken out on Park Hall in the southern end of the City with firefighters battling another daily blaze at the country park.
