Green Flag recognition for Cheshire East green spaces
A dozen parks and green spaces in Cheshire East have been recognised among the country's best.
Green Flag Awards have been achieved by 12 sites across the borough, including Queens Park in Crewe.
This is the international quality mark for parks and green spaces and reflects the ongoing work of parks staff, volunteers and community partners, who help care for these public spaces throughout the year.
Keep Britain Tidy's Green Flag Award scheme manager, Paul Todd MBE, said: "Parks are essential public spaces that support our wellbeing, our communities and our economy. East's Green Flag award-winning sites 2026
