Health and safety executive investigate fall

A man has died after falling through a skylight in Stoke-on-Trent.

It happened at the L UK vehicle repair business on Sandbach Road, in Cobridge on Thursday evening.

The man was taken to hospital where he died a short time later. The Health and Safety Executive confirmed it was aware of the incident and was working alongside Staffordshire police. A spokesperson said his next of kin were being supported by specially-trained officers and an investigation was under way.
