Indian restaurant nominated for award

An Indian restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent has been shortlisted in a national curry competition.

Ali's Kitchen, an already award-winning Bangladeshi and Indian restaurant on The Strand in Longton, has been shortlisted in the second British Curry Championship 2026.

The restaurant is one of the finalists in the chef of the year category.

This comes just months after Muhammed, chef and owner of Ali's Kitchen, was crowned 'Best Chef of the Year' at The Curry Life Awards 2025 in October.
