Letters to loved ones initiative launched

Cheshire East Council has introduced a new 'Letters to Loved Ones' post box scheme across its cemeteries, providing residents with a unique way to remember and stay connected with family members and friends who have passed away.

The scheme has been launched in the following towns:

• Crewe
• Meadow Brook
• Sandbach
• Nantwich
• Alderley Edge
• Wilmslow
• Congleton
• Macclesfield

A further post box is due to be installed at Weston Cemetery in the coming weeks. 

The initiative offers visitors an opportunity to write messages to loved ones they have lost, whether to share memories, mark anniversaries and birthdays, express thoughts and feelings – or simply continue a conversation that remains close to their heart.
