Local councillor bullied into stepping down

A local councillor has announced she is standing down after 11 years, after enduring "misogynistic" and "utterly vile" social media abuse including fake images of her wearing a bikini. Staffordshire Moorlands District and Biddulph Town Councillor Jill Salt has announced she will not seek re-election after her current term of office finishes next year.
