Lorry stopped on A50

Police surrounded a lorry on a Staffordshire road where businesses spotted several people in the back. Footage captured from the scene in Uttoxeter shows police counting the number of individuals in the trailer.

Witnesses said eight people were in the back with the truck reportedly being 'flagged over' on the A50. It has been stopped on Ashbourne Road outside Hawk Training where staff and locals have watched the scenes unfold. An officer stood on a tyre can be seen counting the individuals before asking them to get out 'one by one’.
