Man jailed for coercive and controlling behaviour

A man who raped and controlled a woman over a nunber of years has been jailed.

41 year old Steve Lloyd, from Packmoor, was found guilty of rape and engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour at a previous hearing.

He was jailed for 11 and a half years, put on the sex offenders register indefinitely and handed a 15-year restraining order. Police praised the courage of the survivor for coming forward and supporting the investigation.
