Middle earth comes to the area

Hundreds of people are dressing like the Middle-earth characters as they attend the UK's first hobbit festival.

The five-day Brandywine Festival, at Weston Park on the Shropshire-Staffordshire border, invites its guests to dress up and act like the little folk throughout. 

Tolkien-fans can take accuracy of their universe very seriously,and have advised visitors to know the rules.
