Miniature regatta for Whitchurch

A colourful fleet of miniature narrow boats will go on display in Whitchurch this month. The boats are part of a new family activity to celebrate its canal heritage. The first ever miniature canal regatta will feature 15 small narrow boats building excitement ahead of the canal festival in September and has been launched by Whitchurch Waterway Trust to encourage people of all ages to explore the town and learn about the nearby canal.
