Moorlands business asked to pull down buildings.

Staffordshire Moorlands District Council has issued a statement following an outpouring of support for a business who has been asked to pull down some of its premises. Oakley’s farm near Kingsley had received almost 3000 signatures of support after it took to social media to explain their business may need to close. The council has said a number of buildings have been erected at the site without planning permission, some of which have been subject to planning applications which have been refused on the basis that there was no agricultural justification for them, given that existing buildings were being utilised for non-agricultural purposes.
