More fires across the City

Firefighters are still at the scene of a grass fire in Stoke-on-Trent keeping an eye on it and any hot spots.

They were called on Sunday to Park Hall Country Park, off Park Hall Road, following reports of smoke coming from the area.

The fire covered about 100m x 100m of scrubland and grassland.

Two crews remained at the scene on Monday.

People were asked not to travel along Hulme Road, between Hulme village and Park Hall Road, in order to allow access for fire service vehicles.
