Nantwich teenager to swim for GB

A Nantwich teenager has spoken of her joy after being selected to swim for Great Britain at the European Junior Championships next week

15 year old Kate Schillinger, will compete for her country at the tournament at Munich Swimming Arena 

Kate is one of several students from Repton School in Derbyshire to compete in the European Junior Championships for Great Britain.

Kate and her family also paid tribute to Nantwich and Acton Grammar School Foundation who awarded her funding so she could compete in Serbia at the World School Games last year.

Other pupils will compete for Team England at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and at the 2026 European Championships in Paris.
