New chief promises to save more lives
The new head of Staffordshire's fire service said he is hoping to be able to "save more lives than ever before".
Glynn Luznyj started his new role as Chief Fire Officer of Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service at the beginning of June following the retirement of Rob Barber.
Starting as a trainee firefighter in 1996, with his first station posting at Newcastle Fire Station, he has spent his whole career at the service.
Two weeks after taking on the new position, he said he is keen to focus on road safety in an effort to save more lives across the county.
