North Staffordshire farm fails to secure license for events
A North Staffordshire farm has failed to secure an alcohol licence and permission to stage live music and screen films. Oakleys Farm Ltd planned to sell locally produced alcoholic drinks from the shop at Little Blakeley Lane Farm at Dilhorne, as well as hosting occasional ‘community and family-focused’ events. However, the application sparked a number of concerns including an objection from the council’s planning department as enforcement notices have been issued due to the farm shop and tipi not have planning permission. The council have requested they are removed by 15 November.
