Parents urged to tell children about the dangers of grass fires

As schools break up for summer, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue service are urging parents to talk to their children about the dangers of setting deliberate fires. So far this month they have been called to 137 deliberate outdoor fires across the county with 76 taking place in the Stoke on Trent area, including fires in the southern end of the city at Parkhall and Adderley Green yesterday.
