Police appeal for information regarding crashes

Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash between a Hyundai and Land Rover on Caverwall Road, Weston Coyney left a female crash victim in hospital with potentially serious injuries. Anyone with information about the accident yesterday morning is asked to call 101.

Meanwhile Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a serious crash near Crewe, leaving five people with potentially "life-changing injuries."

At 2.32pm on Thursday 27 August, emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to an incident on Main Road, Weston, near The White Lion pub.

Police attended and found the crash involved two cars, a black Ford KA and a grey Citroen Berlingo, near to the junction of Snape Lane.

The five occupants of the two vehicles sustained potentially life-changing injuries in the collision and were all taken to hospital, where they remain at this time.
