Portmerion group reduces debt

Homewares company Portmeirion Group has secured a $2.7 million refund from the US Treasury as part of a tariff repayment claim.

The Stoke-on-Trent-based firm said the payment is the latest instalment of a $3 million claim submitted through the US Customs and Border Protection (USCBP) Consolidated Administration and Processing of Entries (CAPE) system.
