Raids on areas in Norton
Police are hunting raiders who forced their way inside a chippy and two cafes in one night. Now the force has issued CCTV of individuals they want to speak to over the break-ins in Ball Green, Norton and Milton.
At around 1am on Monday two suspects 'forced their way inside' June's Kitchen on Norton's Knypersley Road and took a till from inside. That incident forced the popular eatery to shut for the day while the team shared images of their smashed door on the business' Facebook page.
In a post on social media the café added: "Hope your happy with yourself - all for £50." The business was back open as normal on Tuesday and wrote on Facebook: "Thank you everyone for the kind words and messages following the break-in."
Following that incident the duo are said to have got on a motorbike and ridden off in the direction of nearby Drakeford Grove. Officers say one of the suspects was described as white, tall, and was wearing goggles, tracksuit bottoms and a black beanie hat. The rider was wearing a green helmet.
