Researcher awarded by Royal Society of Chemists

A researcher and trustee at Nantwich Museum has been honoured with a prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry prize.

Dr Helen Cooke has been named winner of the RSC’s Inspirational Member Awards, for dedication to the Chemical Information and Computer Applications committee and development of the Distillate newsletter.

The Inspirational Member Award, recognises chemistry’s importance in society engaging members of the public including the inventory of the 17th century apothecary shop and exploring Joseph Priestley’s time in Nantwich.
