RSPCA urges support for wildlife during exessive temperatures

As the heatwave continues, Crewe and Nantwich RSPCA is reminding people to not forget wildlife during the soaring temperatures.

The renewed appeal follows a previous bout of hot weather which saw the RSPCA experience its busiest day of the year. While many pet owners will be focused on keeping their companions safe and comfortable in the heat, the animal welfare charity is encouraging people to spare a thought for wildlife, as many species can struggle to find food, water and shelter during prolonged periods of hot weather.
