Runner takes on marathon to support mental health
A runner inspired by Staffordshire Chambers’ monthly run club is set to take on the 2027 London Marathon in support of the Staffordshire Network for Mental Health (SNfMH) charity.
Justin Pover, who works in the Business Engagement team at the University of Staffordshire, will tackle the iconic 26.2-mile race next April, when a record 100,000 runners are expected to take to the streets over two days.
Having started to run more regularly in December 2025, Justin now takes part in parkrun every weekend as he builds towards the biggest challenge of his running journey.
Businesses, community organisations and individuals are being encouraged to support Justin’s campaign through sponsorship, fundraising or by helping spread the word. Donations can be made here.
