School run drivers urged to park responsibly

School-run families in a Moorlands town are being urged to 'park lawfully'. The message has been directed to those dropping off youngsters at both Cheadle Primary and St Giles Catholic Primary - which are a few hundred yards apart. Neighbourhood officers in the Moorlands say problems arise through parking on corners, on double yellow lines, and near crossings.Officers have urged drivers not to block pavements and driveways and adhere to restrictions as not doing so is putting childrens lives at risk.
