Schools to shut due to the heat

A number of Staffordshire Schools are to shut today as a red health alert spreads over our area. These are in the South of Staffordshire, while Stoke on Trent schools have ditched uniforms for PE kits and some have said they will close earlier in the day to allow students get home before the heat of the day.
