Stab victim named

A 20-year-old man who was found stabbed when emergency services were called to a car crash has been described as a "wonderful son, loving brother and doting uncle" by his family.

Jamie Evans's red Ford Fiesta and a grey Audi crashed in Orme Road, in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, on Friday evening.

Passers-by tried to help him until paramedics arrived but he died from a single stab wound after being taken to hospital.

Staffordshire Police said three men had been arrested - two on suspicion of murder and a third on conspiracy to murder.,
