Stafford man jailed for historic child sexual offences

A man who committed a string of child sexual offences in the 90s has now been jailed.

After the survivor bravely came forward in 2024, Staffordshire Police have been investigating 72-year-old Clive Davies, of Stafford, who had sexually assaulted a girl on a number of occasions.

Following the investigation,he has been jailed for seven-years-and-three-months after pleading guilty to two counts of indecent assault on a girl and two counts of inciting a girl to commit an act of gross indecency.
