Stafford man jailed for injuries to son.

 A man who fatally shook his 14-week-old son, three days after hitting him on the back of the head in a KFC restaurant, has been jailed for nine years.

CCTV footage showed 38 year old Gareth Stark, struck Leon Stark while his mother's back was turned at the branch in Stafford. 

The father, from Masefield Drive in the town, who later had sole care of the baby, contacted emergency services saying Leon was breathing "not as he should”.

The infant, who had head, eye and spine injuries, died at Birmingham Children's Hospital eight days later. Stark later admitted manslaughter and battery.
