Stoke on Trent residents benefit from new recycling system
Residents in Stoke-on-Trent will soon benefit from a simpler, more efficient recycling collection service.
The city council is set to introduce single-stream recycling, meaning all recyclable waste can be put in one bin.
The move will streamline collections, reduce the number of separate collections required and provide a more customer-focused service, while residents can continue to recycle the same materials as before.
Recycling boxes and blue recycling bins will no longer be collected separately. Instead, recyclable materials will be collected together in the same vehicle, making the service more efficient while making recycling easier for residents.
