Stone racer crowned champion

Stone-based racer David Jenkins has been crowned British Truck Racing Champion for the second time, securing the 2026 Division 1 title at Brands Hatch.

Jenkins, who first won the championship in 2011, sealed the title with two races to spare after a successful weekend at the Kent circuit.

The Staffordshire racer began competing in 1997 and has remained a regular contender in the championship. Away from the circuit, he also runs a commercial vehicle workshop in Stone.
