Talented designer scoops prize

A talented Nantwich pupil has won a competition to design a new pond and wildlife sign for a housing development.

The 11-year-old entered the competition which was run by his school Pear Tree Primary and housebuilders David Wilson Homes.

Pupils who entered had to create a colourful, eye‑catching design that would help visitors enjoy the pond area safely while celebrating the nature that surrounds it.

Eden’s artwork has now been brought to life at the Maylands Park development in Stapeley.
