Teen arrested followin stabbing
A second teenage boy has been arrested after a stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers were called to Upper Market Square in Hanley at 17:50 BST on Tuesday to a report that a teenage boy had been stabbed in a fight involving a group of young people.
On the same day, a 17-year-old boy, from Stafford, was taken to hospital and arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article in a public place and affray. He remained in hospital on Thursday.
Police have since arrested a 16-year-old boy from the city on Wednesday on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He was questioned in custody and then released on conditional bail while inquiries continued.
