Teenage boys arrested in connection with wildfires

Two teenage boys have been arrested in connection with a number of wildfires.

Firefighters spent almost 24 hours tackling a series of blazes at Park Hall Country Park in Stoke-on-Trent which were all deemed to be deliberate.

A 15-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy, both from Stoke-on-Trent, were arrested on suspicion of arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered. They were both questioned and later released on bail while officers continued their investigation.
