Teenager Riley Anderson has been commended after saving his six-month-old sister from a North Staffordshire house fire. The quick-thinking 18-year-old has been handed a special commendation from fire chiefs after being branded a 'bonafide hero’.Riley was at the family home on Leek's Novi Lane when he heard a power bank inside his mum's bedroom start to 'hiss'. He then spotting smoke coming from the room. Realising his six-month-old sister was in there, the quick-thinking teenager dashed inside, grabbed her, and shouted 'fire' to make sure the family got out.
