Uttoxeter restaurant raises nationl profile.

An expanding Uttoxeter restaurant is building its national profile after winning praise from two popular YouTube food reviewers with almost one million subscribers between them.

Lowes, on Carter Street, welcomed Gary Eats and Danny vs Food for a Sunday lunch event attended by 40 competition winners, with Gary paying for the guests’ three-course meal.

The restaurant and wine bar, launched by chef George Lowe and his wife Jemma in 2023, has since added a bar and increased its dining capacity.

The latest recognition for the growing business comes after George, 33, was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2026 University of Staffordshire Business Awards
