World Cup crime clampdown
Staffordshire Police is clamping down on anyone who commits an offence due to World Cup activity including anti social behaviour, drink or drug driving and domestic abuse.
In the last World Cup 190 drink driving across the County increased with 190 people arrested. They are also working closely with the county’s fire and rescue service to make sure people are being responsible around barbecues and outdoor fire safety, including a zero-tolerance approach to anyone starting fires deliberately.
