The Active Living Group aims :
•Bringing people together and making them feel special
•Providing a chance to rediscover past interests and hobbies
•Broadening horizons and opening up opportunities to meet new friends and enjoy new activities
•Replacing loneliness and isolation with friendship
They also run a monthly “Tea, Coffee, Cakes and Conversation” which meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month in the Whitmore Village Hall. The programme includes “Fun Mobility” easy exercise session, “Chat Time” topical discussions and guest presenters on a wide range of subjects. A chance to meet up with friends old and new, find new interests, and enjoy great homemade cake!
