Reaching started life in April 2021 as a Local Authority funded project delivering outreach support to over 200 people struggling with life changing difficulties such as social isolation and mental health. When funding came to an end, the team, led by founder and CEO Georgina Salt, decided to continue their work and establish as a CIC.

In November 2022, Reaching was founded! Previous experience had given the team an opportunity to identify the gaps in local support provision, and enabled us to create a holistic journey of provision for adults across North Staffs who have become marginalised by difference.

The provision offered is unique to Reaching and has been developed by their service user and professional community. They have a team that is passionate about delivering the best support possible to those who need it most.
